A day in the life

Mabel is doing great and has been super busy latly. A few pictures from the last week and a couple from a year ago! Oh how they change:)

Mommy's little helper!

Mabel is a dream come true (I find myself staring at her during the day - when she is playing, eating, sleeping, sitting in the car, etc.- for long periods of time in amazemant of her). She really wants to help me with anything I am doing....sweeping, vacuuming (now that I just got a new vacuum that is so nice and quit and powerful she doesn't run for the hills when I get it out, I love it) feeding Bella, cooking, working on my computer, etc. I just know she is going to be a big help with the new baby too. Sandy told me the other day that having a girl first is a big help when you have another baby becaseu girls like to help Mommy. I am banking on this big time :)

Vacuuming - the vacuum has an adjustable arm length so w can both use it :)

She did this herself....got both feet into these blocks and then was walking around sliding them on the floor. Bella is steering clear as usual.

I had the great pleasure to watch Kate a couple times last week, she is a great playmate for Mabel and me! Hide and seek with Cousin Kate....I am sure this is just the begining of many games.

I like to think I was spoiling Kate by letting her play with my phone.

We had a great Christmas and Santa was very good to all of us. Looking forward to 2010 and the arrival of Baby Casey in February.

The soon to be Big Sister! We had a "pool party" at the University Marriot the last night my parents were here....Mabel and Kate loved it.

Mabel and I have been on the road alot this Fall - Oregon in September, Vermont in October, California and Montana in November/ December.....I think we are going to be home for a long time now...Baby Casey due the end of February...time to hunker down!
November pictures from time in Gridley, CA where we celebrated Pat's Grandfather Dutch's life, West Yellowstone and Bozeman....the begining of the ski season. Mabel and I got out skiing 6 times....I didn't get any pictures but she loved it and we kept each other warm with her on my back.

I got to take these two cutie pies out for a walk the other day in our double stroller...it's good practice for me come March! It made the stroller make more sence too with two of them in it. It was a smooth ride and they were good as gold.
